Through satellite data, field research, and testimonies from Indigenous and local communities, the report exposes the regional dynamics of a problem that transcends borders and calls for coordinated international action.

It highlights the urgent need to strengthen environmental governance, ensure justice for affected communities, and recognize Indigenous peoples as key actors in protecting the world’s largest tropical forest.
