The region where three major rivers – Orinoco, Atabapo & Guaviare Rivers – come together in Amazonas State in Venezuela is controlled by the FARC with the blessing and collusion of the Bolivarian National Guard/@GNBoficial, the Bolivarian Armed Forces/#FANB and of course, Nicolas Maduro.

The region where three major rivers – Orinoco, Atabapo & Guaviare Rivers – come together in Amazonas State in Venezuela is controlled by the FARC with the blessing and collusion of the Bolivarian National Guard/@GNBoficial, the Bolivarian Armed Forces/#FANB and of course, Nicolas Maduro. They are pilfering Venezuela’s natural resources, destroying the environment & abusing our indigenous peoples, including the Yanomami.

The purpose of SOSOrinoco is to shed light on the existing body of work regarding the situation in the Amazonia and Orinoquia regions of Venezuela, to raise awareness of the tragedy that is occurring and to outline some urgent measures that need to be taken in order to halt the unfolding human and environmental disaster.
